electrode overload

actual name John Electron, a scientist who worked many years on a secret project, a suit that could manifest and manipulate electric fields and currents to the user's content. due to many controversies behind the scenes, he was kicked off of the project after a lot of progress. many years later, the project was being kept under a volcano on an island set up as a tropical resort (Nahidi). all tourism money went directly into funding the project. although one day, john snuck directly into the laboratory where the suit was kept, and chaos ensued. escaping the island, flying into the nearest megalopolis and making everyone's electronics explode, whilst calling clouds and giant thunderstorms.

this could make for a great toasterman story...

It's not like there's a full research center underground that is run by a researcher whose mission is to make a suit that can control electric currents to his benefit, right?

Selena took the tourist guide job offer because "they promised good pay". All of the tourism money goes straight to funding the laboratory. Er, the resort. So they can have better attractions. Totally.
